Edsbyn Black is a quality frame produced in Sweden from Ayous wood. The frame is painted black to give a modern and timeless appearance which is enhanced by the angular profile. The frame moulding is 13 mm wide and 11.5 mm deep which means that the frame is thin but still solid and stable. The frame comes with attachments for wall mounting both vertically and horizontally. The rebate depth (internal measurement) is 8 mm giving you plenty of space to complement your picture with an elegant passepartout or mount. The backing is made from MDF and is held in place with the help of small metal pins which are easily lifted when you want to mount your picture.
The frame is fitted with acrylic glass. Acrylic glass is made of thermoplastic and is much more durable than real glass. It is both lightweight and unbreakable. Frames with acrylic glass weigh less overall than other frames fitted with real glass making them more suitable for children’s rooms and anywhere else you’d prefer a lighter frame.
